Barbara Dymock & Chris Marra (Rescheduled)
Two of the most entertaining performers on the scene; Barbara is a fabulous singer and one of the best kent faces on the Folk scene. Chris is the brother of the legendary Michael Marra but is a wonderfully accomplished musician in his own right: put them together and you have the recipe for an unforgettable evening of music and stories. Make sure you're there.
Important Reminder: Change of Time for Singaround Sessions. July & August
It has been proposed that during the summer months of July and August, when we do not host any guest nights, the singaround sessions should commence at 8:00pm and finish promptly at 10:30pm. We will be implementing this, on a trial basis, commencing on Thursday 2nd July and continuing until Thursday 27th August. Please note that this is not, at this time, a permanent change. The success of the trial will be reviewed by the committee later in the year and it proves sufficiently popular we may adopt it on a permanent basis.

One of the most glorious voices in folk music and one of the finest guitarists in the country, we welcome Sylvia, veteran of the seminal Glasgow folk group Kentigern and genuine guitar legend Sandy back to the Ntten stage. It's guaranteeed to be a special night.

Songwriters in the Round
Four of Nitten Folk Club's very own songwriting talents: Ronnie Miller, Jim Weatherston, Tom Fairnie and Tom Clelland come together on one stage to perform a selection of of their wonderful compositions and delight us with the stories behind them. It's certain to be an entertaining night.

Kathy Stewart & the Frequent Flyers
Kathy Stewart is an American-born singer-songwriter who has lived in the Scottish Borders for over 30 years. Accompanied by The Frequent Flyers her music incorporates the Celtic sound that drew her to Scotland in the first place. Sure to be a great night.

Performing at Nitten Folk Club
Our guest nights are held at 8:30pm on the first Thursday of each month (excluding July and August). Usually it's two 45 minute spots. Each spot is preceded by 2 or 3 'floor spots' from audience members and a raffle is held in the interval..
Everything you need is here
P.A. is provided (unless you particularly want to bring your own) and our resident sound man is on hand to ensure that you sound your very best. We have an excellent state of the art digital P.A. system and all mics, stands, cables, etc. are available.
