Bringing the Best of Folk Music to the Community

Nitten Folk Club

“It’s a folk singer’s job to comfort disturbed people and to disturb comfortable people”.

– Woody Guthrie

A Message of Thanks from Nitten Folk Club.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the members of The Dean Trust for the unwavering support they have given to Nitten Folk Club since we moved to the Dean Tavern over thirty years ago. We would also like to thank the management and staff of the Dean Tavern for their generosity and assistance over the last three decades, which has allowed the club to continue and thrive.

  • From Monday 18th April the wearing of face masks will no longer be a legal requirement. We do, however, still recommend that you wear a face mask while walking around the venue in order to protect yourself and those around you.  You may remove the mask when seated.
  • Entry to the club is no longer solely via the side (Dean Park) entrance, although this is still the most convenient way to enter.
  • Drinks can now be purchased from the main bar. The bar in the function hall will be opened during guest nights and special events.
